Responsibilities

  • Own the requirements baseline: capture, analyze, trace, and manage changes
  • Define system architecture, interfaces, and high-level performance budgets
  • Plan and coordinate MAIT activities, ensuring configuration and quality control
  • Build and run verification & validation plans
  • Identify technical risks, drive trade studies, and propose mitigation actions
  • Maintain clear documentation and communicate status to stakeholders, participate in design and test reviews

Requirements

  • Bachelor’s degree in Mechanical, Materials, Aerospace Engineering, Systems Engineering, or a related field
  • 3+ years in systems engineering/similar for aerospace or other high-reliability hardware
  • Familiarity with MAIT workflows and configuration control
  • Strong communication, problem-solving, and cross-functional coordination skills
  • Fluent English (written & spoken)

Nice to Have

  • INCOSE, PMP, or similar certification
  • Experience with propulsion systems or fluidic subsystems
  • Model-Based Systems Engineering (MBSE) skills using SysML/Cameo or Capella
  • Background in ESA, EDF, or other international space programmes
  • Familiarity with simulation or analysis tools (MATLAB/Simulink, ANSYS, CFD, FMEA, FDIR)
  • Experience delivering hardware at TRL>6 and supporting flight qualification
