Responsibilities
- Assist engineers with design, analysis, and prototype testing
- Support manufacturing, assembly, integration, and quality control tasks on (flight) hardware, components, and test rigs
- Help inspect, verify, and document component conformity against drawings, specifications, and acceptance criteria
- Help build and refine documentation, procedures, and BOMs in our PLM/ERP systems
- Support procurement activities, including RFQs, purchase request preparation, supplier communication, and tracking component availability, cost, and lead times
- Contribute to market research, cost models, and supplier scouting for new components or services
- Analyze test data, write concise reports, and present findings at team reviews
- Pitch improvement ideas, process tweaks, automation scripts, or fresh visualizations, and see them implemented
Requirements
- Enrolled in or recently graduated from a bachelor’s or master’s program in engineering, physics, computer science, business, or a related field
- Preferably in the final semester of studies or close to graduation
- Curious, proactive, and eager to learn; not afraid to ask questions or suggest improvements
- Comfortable collaborating in English, our working language, and able to tackle tasks independently when needed
- Able to commit at least 2 months full-time during the summer
- Available and willing to continue working part-time after the summer period
Nice to Have
- Experience with any of the following: CAD software, coding (Python, MATLAB), data analysis, electronics labs, mechanical workshops, or project-management tools
- Familiarity with aerospace standards
- Experience in student rocketry/robotics projects
